PANJIM: The public outburst by Rohan Khaunte, the face of the Group of 6, against his own government is a clear indication that the administration has collapsed, claimed Lokancho Aadhar on Tuesday.
“The attack is directly on the Chief Minister who holds the key portfolio of Finance. With such a charge and the silence of the Chief Minister is an indication that he is not aware of this public outburst,” Trajano D’Mello said.
He said that any CM would have sacked the Minister immediately. “The charges that the cronies are running this government in the name of the Chief Minister are now getting confirmed,” he alleged.
Pointing out that the Revenue Minister is on record saying, after the Cabinet meeting last month, that the government functioning was smooth, he questioned how everything could come to a standstill immediately after that.
D’Mello further asked whether Khaunte has written to the Chief Minister about non-functioning of the bureaucrats.
