CURCHOREM: Gujarat police with the help of Curchorem police nabbed a kidnapper from Uttar Pradesh and rescued a minor girl from Ahmadabad, at Curchorem on Friday.
According to PSI Yogesh Patil from Meghaninagar police station in Ahmadabad, the brother of the minor girl lodged a complaint on February 6 this year that his sister went for tuition and did not return home.
“Later, one day the accused Shivsankar Rajender Sahani (30) from Uttar Pradesh called girl’s brother from his mobile phone and had some discussion with him. Soon after the discussion, the brother gave the mobile number to police which helped us to search the location of the accused,” informed PSI Patil.
It is learnt that PSI Patil and ASI R S Chauhan along with Curchorem police searched the location and succeeded in nabbing the culprit who was staying in a rented room at Kamral, Curchorem.
