TIVIM: The three accused identified in connection with kidnapping and assault of a club owner from Saligao moved for anticipatory bail.
When contacted, police sources told Herald that they are unable to arrest the accused till the court order.
It may be recalled that last Sunday, the club owner was kidnapped and assaulted by a gang of eight people at Vagator. Later, the gang demanded a ransom of Rs 50 lakh from the club owner.
Anjuna PI Paresh Naik had told Herald that teams have been sent to the residences of the accused and hangout places at Porvorim, Calangute and other places and a manhunt was launched to nab the accused and all the police stations were alerted.
