Kiosk near Raia Church gutted

A kiosk located near the Raia Church was completely gutted in a major fire in the wee hours of Sunday.
The total loss caused by the destruction of property was pegged at Rs 90,000. Margao Fire Services informed that they received a fire call at around 2.55 am today stating that a kiosk was engulfed in fire. A fireman said the entire kiosk belonging to Santosh Prabhu was in flames when a fire tender reached the spot, totally gutting the structure. The exact cause of the fire is being ascertained.
