July 7th was the birth anniversary of Late Madhavi ‘taiee’. Speaking at the function, Mauzo said, “Madhavi was that one writer and a hard worker of Konkani language who always promoted new writers and talents to work for the betterment of Konkani.” He congratulated the family’s effort to get the book published.
Borkar said, “By means of the books and her writings Madhavi will always live on for the coming generations. The time I spent with her showed me her love and strong feelings for the upliftment of Konkani language and no one can take that from her.”
