Konkani Parishad in Belgaum concludes

BELGAUM: Vice Chancellor of Karnataka University Dr Meena Chandawarkar has stressed the need to involve the young people and team work in the Konkani movement. She was speaking as the chief guest at the valedictory function of the 29th All India Konkani Parishad in Belgaum on Sunday.

BELGAUM: Vice Chancellor of Karnataka University Dr Meena Chandawarkar has stressed the need to involve the young people and team work in the Konkani movement. She was speaking as the chief guest at the valedictory function of the 29th All India Konkani Parishad in Belgaum on Sunday.
“It’s nice to see senior stalwarts in Karnataka and Goa striving for the overall development of Konkani, however, time has come to create awareness among the young generation regarding enrichment of Konkani that has its presence all over the world,” she said.
She lauded the role of Konkani women in various fields and stated that along with men, Konkani women too have made mark at national and international levels.
