VASCO: Locals from Vasco celebrated Sao Joao Festival with great enthusiasm. There was a special celebration in Khariwado where people danced and played various games.
The Kopel competition was a huge draw while a rain dance was also organized along with a live band performance. During this festival at Khariwado, St Andrew Church’s parish priest Gabriel Coutinho, NCP leader Jose Philipe Dsouza and other dignitaries were present.
