CANACONA: A Krishi Melava was organized at Khola on Wednesday.
The event was inaugurated by Deputy Chief Minister and Agriculture Minister Chandrakant (Babu) Kavlekar.
On the occasion, Kavlekar urged and advised the youth to take up agriculture as commercial profession.
He congratulated the youth who has ventured into agriculture a few years back and now are earning Rs 10 lakh annually.
He said that all the difficulties of farmers will be sorted out in stipulated time frame. He said that Goa will be establishing its own Organic University.
