MARGAO:  A senior Congress leader from of Karnataka has castigated the BJP government in Goa for betraying Goans by promising the moon, but delivering nothing.
Addressing a press briefing at Margao on Friday, R V Deshpande alleged, “The BJP has betrayed the Goans totally by promising so many things, but delivering nothing. Deshpande is also minister in the Karnataka Congress government.
He said, “Frankly speaking, the present chief minister may be a nice man but doesn’t have the administrative capacity and is only a rubber stamp.”
Reacting to a recent statement of the BJP National president Amit Shah Deshpande said, “The statement of the BJP chief claiming that Manohar Parrikar will be the de facto chief minister is deplorable and is an insult to democracy.”
“The distancing of RSS which has been most loyal organisation to the country and also to BJP means that the BJP has failed to keep their act together in the state,” Deshpande said.
On Arvind Kejriwal, he said, “In the beginning, he was working for social causes and other issues. But soon after he got power he became power hungry and money hungry.”
