PANJIM : KTC Drivers & Allied Employees Association affiliated to AITUC has served a strike notice to the corporation September 6 onwards to protest against the Government and the management of KTC for not resolving the long pending demands.

1. payment of 7th Pay Commission Arrears and signing of wage settlement,
2. restoring provident fund contribution at 12%,
3. urgent procurement of 300 buses
4. stoppage of out-sourcing interstate routes.
They KTC union and the AITUC accused the government of wanting to destroy the KTC and alienate it from the people.
