PANJIM: Kadamba Transport Corporation Limited (KTC), with the largest fleet of buses in Goa, has covered its employees, including officers under an insurance policy scheme.
According to the insurance policy, an employee of KTC is entitled for Rs 5 lakh for natural as well as accidental death. The scheme enables an employee to withdraw up to Rs 1 lakh for accidental injuries and an amount of Rs 50,000 as a temporary overdraft. The scheme envisages that legal heirs, spouse and family of the worker, are entitled to Rs 5 lakh on death or disability.
