VASCO: Transport Minister Mauvin Godinho on Thursday flagged off fleet of five electric buses run by the Kadamba Transport Corporation Limited (KTCL) at the Dabolim airport.
On the occasion, Navelim MLA and KTC Chairman Ulhas Tuenkar, Vasco MLA Krishna ‘Daji’ Salkar and officials of KTCL and Goa International Airport were present.
Three of these buses will ply on Dabolim Airport-Panjim-Calangute route and replace the conventional buses while, the other two buses will operate on Vasco-Panjim and Vasco-Margao route.
Speaking on the occasion, Godinho said that the government’s efforts are on to introduce 100 electric buses into service in the State.
