KTC is suffering huge losses through an agreement signed with Evey Transport Pvt Ltd from Hyderabad. As per the agreement KTC has to pay Rs 75 to the company per kilometer. KTC chairman Ulhas Tuenkar admitted that the revenue earned by KTC per kilometer on these buses is Rs 50 resulting in a loss of Rs 25. The loss per bus per day is Rs 4000 he said. Tuenkar however added that had the KTC purchased these buses, the corporation might have made a profit.
