PANJIM: Kadamba Transport Corporation Limited (KTCL) has been awarded a trophy for maximum diesel efficiency for the year 2015-16 by Association of State Road Transport Undertakings (ASRTU) headed by Secretary of Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH).
The award was presented by Sanjay Mitra, Secretary Transport, MoRTH, and President ASRTU-New Delhi to Derrick P Neto, Managing Director KTCL in New Delhi on March 16.
KTCL got the award for maximum fuel efficiency of 4.4km/ltr for 2015-16 for fleet strength below 1000 buses out of 17 STU’s in mofussil services.
Neto has credited the award to officers and employees of the corporation. KTCL General Manager Sanjay Ghat said the corporation has got four awards since 2011 in the field of performance and maximum fuel efficiency.
