PERNEM: Twenty-seven-year-old one Yogesh Parab, a resident of Kudal, Maharashtra was killed in a road accident near B Ed College, Torxem, on Thursday morning.
According to sources, the accident occurred at around 7.30 am when Yogesh, who was travelling on his motorcycle, was hit by a tempo. The impact was such that he sustained grievous injuries which resulted in his instant death.
Pernem Police have arrested tempo driver Vinod Rathod from Bijapur, Karnataka.
Police are further investigating the case.
