VASCO: Dr E Ramesh Kumar, IAS, has taken over as MPT Chairman, on Wednesday.
The chair was vacant since former Chairman I Jeyakumar was relieved a month ago. Dr E Ramesh will have a task at hand as far as the proposal of the MPT for Development of Kharewado and Vasco bay and its opposition from several quarters is concerned.
Dr Kumar is a 1999 batch IAS officer of the Madhya Pradesh Cadre.
