Kundaim locals cleared the road blockade four days after a major accident took place on the road leading to their village. The blockade was lifted after PWD officers, Ponda Police Inspector, Ponda mamlatdar and Kundaim sarpanch and panch members inspected the road.
The Assistant Engineer gave assurance that the top road would be widened and all heavy traffic would be diverted on that road and only vehicles coming to the village will take the down road. They also agreed to depute traffic police there. It may be recalled that in a major accident over 9 vehicles were damaged after a huge trailer lost control.
