PONDA: After long wait of four years, the residents of Ward No. 2 at Kurtarkar Nagari, Ponda got a sigh of relief after the Ponda Municipal Council decided to convert the existing mud walking track into a synthetic one.
Ward Councillor Virendra Dhavalikar said, “Converting the mud walking track into a synthetic one was in my election manifesto. I was following up the matter with the municipality for the past two years,” he said.
“Recently, decision was taken in the council meeting to convert the mud track into synthetic one. Within one year the work will be completed,” added.
