QUEPEM: Kushavati River has crossed the danger level. If rain continues for the next 24 hours, Kushavati river is likely to flood Paroda village.
The reservoir of Salaulim dam already full to the brim resulting Kushavati and Zuari rivers swell up beyond danger level. It is being feared that if rain does not subside, flood water is likely to seep into the village. Paroda village gets submerged every year
Also, the Gudi Paroda road connecting Margao and Quepem is feared to get submerged.
