MARGAO: Maina-Curtorim police have registered offence under section 304A IPC for causing death by negligence against proprietor of Mohiddin Metal Industries, IDC, Loutulim for the death of a worker who was working on a crusher at IDC-Loutulim. A complaint was filed by Salman Ali, native of Assam and resident of Rasaim-Loutulim that Islam Mujavadin, native of Assam and resident of Rasaim, who was working at the crusher died of head injury when he was trapped in the belt of the machine. Mujvadin was rushed to Hospicio Hospital, Margao, where he was declared dead on arrival. Further investigation is in progress.
