PANJIM: One of the main kingpins in the large-scale land grab scam, Mohd Suhail Shafi, and record attendant with Archeology Department Dhiresh Naik have been granted conditional bail by the local court, on Wednesday.
The 29-member Special Investigation Team (SIT) is probing the scam with over two dozen cases, which were transferred from the Mapusa Police Station and some registered afresh, currently under investigation.
A number of fresh complaints are being verified before the registration of the offence.
Meanwhile, details of 92 properties, which were subjected to fraud are handed over to the North Collector.
