In a letter to Herald, Lena Gaasvaer (born Albuquerque) from Norway says that the land in question belongs to her mother Eudocia Albuquerque, who was originally a Sardinha, who is now 76 years and staying with her in Norway for the last 20 years.
According to her daughter “she has the full documentation that she is the legal owner. I refer to the articles about this project you have published in the last days. It is mentioned that the original owners of the building plot are Dionisio and Lydia Sardinha and others. I would like to inform you that Dionisio and Lydia Sardinha have never been the owners of the part of the plot they claimed to have,” says the letter. “The owner of this plot is my mother, Eudocia Albuquerque (full maiden name Maria Eudocia Fatima Sardinha). She is a relative of Dionisio Sardinha. My mother is 76 years, and she has been staying with me in Norway for the last 20 years.”
“We do not know what he has done in connection with the above project, but if he has sold the plot to the builders it is a criminal act. Further we are informed that he has cut down some oak and mango trees on the plot without permission, which also is a criminal act,” the letter states.
