PANJIM: In a notification issued by the Revenue Department, the Goa Land Revenue Code was amended and the land conversion fee rates were announced.
The rates are as per the various categories for land use and for various sizes of land (below 500 sq mtrs, 500-2,000 sq mts and above 2,000 sq mtrs).
The categories included Residential, Commercial, Industrial, Recreational, Traffic and Transport and Public (Institutional and government).
The notification also explained that for Village Panchayat 1 and 2 categories, the conversion/fees as applicable to S-2 and S-3 category respectively, shall be charged.
