CANACONA: Incessant rains for the last few days caused a landslide, partially blocking the road at Agas-Loliem, Canacona, on Thursday.
As the heavy rains lashed Canacona, part of a hill along with heavy boulders gave way and came crashing down on the road at about 5 pm on Thursday, informed sources.
Sources informed that vehicular traffic was blocked, before residents toiled to clear the road of the mud and boulders, partially restoring traffic movement.
Later in theevening, workers were engaged to clear the mud, before fully restoring the road at round 8 pm.
There are also fears that the landslide has caused danger to two houses located nearby in the area, informed sources.
