Landslide: School helps families

BICHOLIM: Thirty-two families from Zolambe and Asaniye in Maharashtra, whose houses were destroyed in a landslide, were distributed basic necessities by the teachers from Saraswat Vidhyalaya. 
Twelve families from Dabtewadi Zolambe and 20 families from Asaniye in Maharashtra suffered a huge loss last month when their houses were buried in a landslide.  The affected families from Zolambe are currently housed at a local temple, while the affected families from Asaniye are given shelter in a government school.  A team of teachers and non-teaching staff decided to help the families.
