PERNEM: Landslides between Ugave and Satarda Railway Bridge on the ongoing work of six-lane highway project disrupted traffic. The traffic movement was later restored after an hour.
Motorists commuting on the under construction highway are at risk due to the ongoing work; and with heavy rains lashing the State, they face heightened risk of getting crushed under landslides. The locals complain that since last one year, the contractor is dumping only mud on the road and he failed to complete the work on time causing hardship to the motorists.
