PONDA: The Ponda Police have registered an offence against four persons including a builder, an advocate for land grabbing at Kundaim by forging signatures of Miramar based land owner family.
Jay Ramkrishna Curchorkar from Palm Grove Apartment at Miramar Panjim had filed the case in this matter at the Ponda Police station against four accused namely Jeetendra Mohan Chandra Pathak, Lily Jeetendra Pathak, Mohan Chandra Pathak , all partners of M/s Aura Builders and Developers having office at Dona Paula and one Advocate from Panjim.
According to Ponda Police the incident took place at the Office of the Civil Registrar cum Sub Registrar Ponda on March 26, 2019 wherein the three partners of Aura Builders and Developers in connivance with Panjim based advocate hatched a criminal conspiracy, forged the signature of complainant’s mother-in-law namely Sulaksha Vinayak Kamat, father in law namely Vinayak Govind Kamat and both brother-in-laws namely Sudin Kamat and Govind Kamat on the Power of Attorney vide Reg No 12757/18 dated July 4, 2018 to alter the area of property of survey number 27/2 Village Kundaim Ponda from 2017.00 Square meter to 2925.00 Square meter on the power of attorney and produced the same before Office of the Civil Registrar cum Sub Registrar, Ponda Goa to make a sale deed of the property of survey number 27/2 Village Kundaim Ponda .
Ponda Police have registered the case under crime no 142/2023 U/sec 465, 467, 468, 471, 420 R/w 120 B of IPC.
