Aldona MLA Carlos Alvares Ferreira informed that the speaker has to pass an order pertaining to the new Leader of Opposition. At the moment Michael Lobo is sitting on the chair as the Leader of the Opposition, he continued. Ferreira further informed that a new Leader of the Opposition will be announced before the assembly session ends. Mormugao MLA Sankalp Amonkar also informed that the Leader of the Opposition hasn’t been changed yet. A report will be submitted to the party’s high command, he said.
