MARGAO: The Special Court constituted under the Prevention of Corruption Act on Wednesday issued notice to the Secretary of Goa Legislative Assembly seeking a report on the breach of privilege moved against Adv Aires Rodrigues in connection with the disproportionate assets case filed by him against Goa Speaker, Rajendra Arlekar.
Special Judge Nutan Sardesai in an order has asked the Goa Legislature Secretary to appear before the court on March 24 at 10 am and file reply/arguments in the matter. Earlier, Adv Rodrigues had in his application had prayed to the court to issue directions to register an FIR and investigate complaint against Arlekar.
