BICHOLIM: The presence of a leopard in Vathadev Bicholim has caused panic among the locals.
According to highly placed sources, two days back a trap was laid for wild boar and when the persons went to the spot they were surprised to see that the boar which was trapped was eaten by a leopard.
To add to this some of the villagers who had gone to the cashew plantation spotted a leopard in broad day light.
After the incident the people are under panic with some of them avoid going to gather cashew nuts
