PONDA: A leopard strayed into a cattle shed and killed six goats and injured a buffalo calf in Thatod, Dharbandora, triggering panic in the area on Tuesday.
The constant movement of the feline has given sleepless nights to a farmer Narayan Kolekar and his family who reside on the outskirts of the village and in a forested area here.
Till date, Kolekar says the leopard killed six of his goats and also wounded a buffalo calf and stated that he suffered a loss of Rs 80,000.
The Kolekar family added they lived in constant fear as the leopard kept making regular visits to hunt goats at nights.
