PONDA: The school management of Dhavlim SS Samithi School on Wednesday terminated the services of its librarian Amit Sawant for allegedly assaulting a Class VIII student.
The parents of the student filed a police complaint against the librarian for assaulting their child for petty reason. The parents have welcomed the decision.
It may be recalled Amith was arrested under the Childrens Act for allegedly assaulting the student by kicking and hitting him.
