Ladu Pednekar, a 36-year-old line helper hailing from Keri-Pernem, met a similar fate at the Colvale Industrial Estate. During the course of his duties, a fateful encounter with live wires resulted in a catastrophic electric shock, causing Ladu Pednekar to plummet from the pole he was working on. Despite immediate medical attention at the Mapusa District Hospital, his condition remained critical, and he tragically succumbed to his injuries upon arrival.
