The duo Jeetu Singh and Pradeep Pandey and five others were by the Railway Police and later by the Konkan Railway Police. They were later released on a bail bond of Rs 5000 each.
The seven were fighting over some unknown reasons when the RPF stopped them and arrested them. They have filed cross complaints against each other. The incident occurred at around 11 am in the morning of Monday. All the 7 accused have been ordered to visit police station for three days. It may be recollected that both the main accused Pradeep Pandey and Jeetu Singh were named in the racket of illegal liquor smuggling via trains at the Margao Railway station. Pradeep was arrested subsequently and later released on bail.
