PONDA: A massive traffic jam was witnessed on the Borim bridge for almost two hours between 4.30 pm and 6.30 pm on account of load testing work, on Friday.
The authorities had pressed in a huge crane for load testing work and kept one lane closed.
However, due to the heavy flow of traffic during peak hours, it led to chaos and confusion leaving people, especially office goers stranded for hours together.
Even 108 ambulances were stuck in the traffic jam.
People heaved a sigh of relief when the work stopped at 6.30 pm and the road was finally cleared.
