PONDA: Deputy Speaker Michael Lobo while paying tributes to Vishnu Wagh said that Vishnu should be honoured with Padmashree posthumously.
“He deserves it. He was a great writer and a powerful orator. Artists of his capacity are rarely born,” he said.
He said politicians in Goa used Wagh for their personal gains. He said that unaware of the hidden intention of the politicians, Wagh went to temples and offered prayers for the agenda of politicians and finally he suffered for it.
