The Goa BJP, at its party meeting on Tuesday, passed a resolution to withdraw the NOC granted to Karnataka DPR on the Kalasa Banduri project due to the consequences it would have on Goa if there is the diversion of Mhadei water to Karnataka.
The party also called on local bodies to adopt resolutions urging the Centre to withdraw the NOC granted on Karnataka on Mhadei and also institute a signature campaign and send it to the Prime Minister, Home Minister, Jal Shakti Minister and the Party President.
