PONDA: Following complaints by local Naresh Gaude about illegal hill cutting at Mangueshi in Veling Priol, Cuncoliem Village Panchayat, Monday issued notices to concerned parties and
conducted site inspection in presence of Sarpanch Harsha Gaude, deputy
Rupesh Naik and secretary of Panchayt besides VDC and Biodiversity Committee members.
Complainant Naresh Gaude said the concerned party involved in hill
cutting and road construction had not obtained
necessary permission for construction of the road
at the site. He said Panchayat should study the case and should take action for violations.
