CUNCOLIM: Agitated local truck owners from Betul, Canaginuim and surrounding areas on Tuesday morning stopped Bauxite ore transporting at Betul and threatened not to allow trucks from other States to transport Boxite ore.
The agitated truck owners informed that the transport contractor at Betul Boxite mine has engaged more than fifty heavy duty trucks from other States to transport Bauxite ore.
On Tuesday morning, local truck owners were surprised to see trucks from other State being used in transporting Bauxite ore.
They complained that since last many years, the local trucks were engaged in ore transportation, but the transport contractor has not paid their dues.
However, without informing the local truck owners, the contractor brought more than fifty heavy trucks for Bauxite transportation.
Therefore, local truck owners did not allow the trucks to transport Bauxite ore. The truck owners forcibly stopped ore transportation.
The truck owners also warned the contractor not to allow any truck from other States to transport ore.
