Residents of Kasarvane in Pernem took proactive measures to address the deplorable road conditions in their locality ahead of Diwali. Expressing dissatisfaction with the state of the roads filled with potholes and areas where tar has eroded, locals decided to fill the potholes themselves.
According to the residents, the roads have deteriorated significantly, and basic infrastructure, including well-maintained roads, has been lacking. In the absence of swift action from the local MLA to address these concerns, the community members took it upon themselves to make the roads more navigable for the upcoming festive season.
