SANGUEM: The lockdown call given by the Shop Owners Association from Sanguem to keep the business establishments and Sanguem market closed for three days commencing on Friday was partially successful.
Except for a few shops, most of the business establishments remained closed for the day.
In a related development, the villagers of Ponsamoll and the neighbouring areas of Chiraband and Maulinguem remained under self-quarantine on Friday and are expected to continue the same for the next few days.
