CANACONA: A house in Loliem was saved from being completely destroyed in fire due to timely intervention of the fire fighting crew in the early hours of Thursday.
Sources at Canacona fire station said that on receiving a distress call from the inmates of the house at Loliem that their house has caught fire, the fire crew immediately set off with their fire engine.
By the time they reached there, one room of the house was totally gutted in the fire and their timely action saved other rooms and their belongings from getting destroyed.
