Margao: Fatorda Police have issued a lookout notice against two accused involved in the Anwar Shaikh assault case who was assaulted on February 16 at Arlem Raia.
The crime has been registered at the Fatorda Police Station Crime No. 16/2021 u/s 143, 147, 148, 307, 120-B, 212 r/w 149 IPC and Section 3 r/w 25 Arms Act and a lookout notice has been issued against Vally George Da’Costa from Tilamol, Quepem and Amir Gawandi from Devlamol, Shirvoi, Quepem.
The police have urged the public to get in touch on 7875756181 and on Police Control room 100 /7875756000 Fatorda Police Station on 0832-2741000 if they know the whereabouts of the two accusedp.
It may be recalled that on the February 16, Anwar Shaikh, an undertrial who was out on bail was assaulted with sharp objects and was shot at by some assailants who were later identified by the victim in his statement. The police have arrested seven accused so far.
