Besides the US firm’s country office, the chargesheet will name former PWD minister Churchill Alemao, suspended JICA Project Director Anand Wachasunder, former Vice President of Louis Berger India Satyakam Mohanty, alleged hawala operator Raichand Soni as accused, charged with corruption and criminal conspiracy.
CB SP Kartik Kashyap confirmed that investigation team would chargesheet the case on Monday morning but refused giving details.
Herald had last week reported that statements of witnesses and confessions of the accused made before the judicial magistrate under Section 164 of the Code of Criminal Procedure will be a part of the chargesheet.
Sources told Herald that the preliminary chargesheet would have basic details of the investigation while the supplementary chargesheet that will also name ex-chief minister Digambar Kamat as accused, will contain details to present a strong case against the culprits.
