MARGAO: Loutolim resident Franky Monteiro clarified that the villagers were misguided at the July 1 gram sabha by stating that he has moved the court to stay the resolutions of the previous gram sabha permitting four mobile towers in the village.
He said he has filed an application before the Additional Director of Panchayat alleging that the Sarpanch has unlawfully allowed discussions and resolutions to be adopted at the April 10 gram sabha.
He alleged that proposal received from the villagers was unlawfully placed before the gram sabha.
