MARGAO: Inacinho Fernandes who was recently disqualified as the Sarpanch of village panchayat of Loutolim has now resigned as the Sarpanch while retaining his membership of the panchayat in the resignation letter addressed to the Director of Panchayats.
Stating that he has got a stay on the disqualification order, Inacinho said he has now resigned of his own free will, but would continue to serve the panchayat as a member.
