MARGAO: Maina-Curtorim police have registered a case of assault against one Lazario Ahtavide alias Papu for assaulting a woman at Loutolim on Monday at around 11 am. According to the complaint by Maclean Barreto, Lazario pelted stones at the woman and subsequently attacked her with a knife at her garbage management site at Loutolim. She had injuries on her face and back and added that her rickshaw was damaged by Lazario, who has gone into hiding.
