‘Love Jihaad’, Kamal Haasan criticised at Hindu Convention

PONDA: At the ongoing 8th edition of the All-India Convention for the ‘Hindu Nation’, actor turned politician Kamaal Haasan came under fire for his apparent silence on the killing of Hindus in his home state of Tamil Naidu, while other speakers emphasised on the need to create awareness on ‘Love Jihaad’ – an issue they were highly critical of.
This was discussed on Friday, the third day of the convention being held at the Vidyadhiraj Hall of Shri Ramnath Temple in Ramnathi, Ponda.
While addressing the gathering, G. Radhakrishnan, State President, Shiv Sena from Tamil Nadu criticised Haasan, who has recently forayed into politics, for his recent statement that ‘Nathuram Godse was the first terrorist after Independence’.
“Jihadi terrorists killed more than 100 devout Hindus in Tamil Nadu. Similarly, Hindus are being killed in Sri Lanka; however, Kamal Haasan does not dare to speak against this. Hindus should protest against such tendencies. When Hindus unitedly and strongly opposed his outrageous statement, he was forced to say, “My daughter also studies tenets of Hindu Dharma,” said Radhakrishnan.
The topic of discussion at that point was on the ‘Form of Anti-Hindu ideology is on the Rise in Tamil Nadu State and Remedies Thereon’ in the seminar on ‘Present Plight of Hindus in Various States’.
In another discussion, Vinod Kumar Sarvoday from Uttar Pradesh, said awareness on ‘Love Jihaad’ is essential.  “A large network of Jihadis has been created in the country. The religious fanatic students come to India with scholarships from Islamic countries and deceive Hindu girls in ‘love-jihad’,” he added, while speaking in the session titled ‘Mission of the Hindu Nation’.
On this occasion, Adv Satish Tripathi, National Mahamantri of Rashtriya Swabhimani Party of Chhattisgarh said, “The caste system weakened in the area of the country where caste-based politics was played. In ancient times, system of Varnas (Classes) existed, it was ideal. Since everybody used to look after another, it was self-sufficient.”
Later on, H.H. Nilesh Singbal, Guide of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti for Northern and North-Eastern India submitted the review of the mission carried out for ‘Awakening on the Hindu Nation and Hindu Unity’ in the Kumbha Mela in Prayagraj.
Dharmaprasarak of Sanatan Sanstha Sadguru Nandkumar Jadhav guided the gathering on the ‘Importance of training programmes for establishing the Hindu Nation and direction for collective planning’.
