MARGAO: Congratulating Neelay Sanjay Naik for securing admission at BITS Pilani Goa, convener of K B Shaikshanik Saunstha Sunil Naik appealed to science and mathematics teachers of high schools in Goa to promote the various talent search examinations amongst the Goan students.
Neelay who studied at Loyola High School scored 90.83 % marks at his SSC exams and 87.66 % at the higher Secondary School examinations with 95 marks in physics, 82 in chemistry and 96 in mathematics.
He said the latent talent of a child would be exposed only if they are encouraged to participate in national level examinations and talent searches and said teachers have to take a little trouble to identify students who can participate in such exams.
Naik said the Mathematics Competitive Test organised by Goa Teachers Association and the Goa Talent Search Examination organised by Goa Headmasters Association are open to students of VII, VIII, IX and X standard.
