CANACONA: A five-year-old school girl had a miraculous escape when a car rammed from behind the scooter her grandfather was riding.
At around 1 pm an Alto car proceeding towards Karwar rammed a Honda scooter from behind at Sheller.
The impact was to such an extent that the child on the scooter was flung in the air to a distance of about three metres. Fortunately, neither the child nor her grandfather Dinanath Naik Gaonkar suffered any injuries.
